Visit the archaeological site which is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delphi one of the most stunning ancient sites in the world, is mostly known for the oracle which was the most important oracle in the classical world as well as a major site for the worship of the god Apollo who “spoke” to the ones seeking consultation through his priestess known as Pythia.
The archaeological site of Delphi contains fabulous ruins including a theatre, stadium and treasuries, all of which are framed by views of which the gods would have been proud! Visit the archaeological Museum: this small museum is one of the most interesting in Greece for ancient sculpture. One highlight will be the bronze Charioteer.
